Business Challenges
New employees were originally onboarded through instructor-led sessions, but the program had low levels of participation and engagement. This industry leader needed a digital learning program to engage learners and ensure they understood the organization’s safety permitting system. The program was designed to achieve the following goals.
- Introduce new employees to the fundamentals of the steps followed in the risk and hazard management process.
- Ensure employees know different roles and responsibilities in the permit process and the steps for issuing a permit to work.
- Provide an opportunity for new hires to learn at their own pace and in a self-directed manner, allowing them to absorb better and retain information.
