After transitioning to a remote-first model and scaling operations, the organization recognized the necessity to revamp its onboarding program to align with the evolving needs of new hires.

By redesigning the new hire onboarding program, they aimed to achieve three primary objectives:

  • Reduce onboarding time
  • Clarify expectations for new hires
  • Reduce time to proficiency
Set Goals

Infopro Learning overhauled its onboarding program to reduce time to proficiency for new hires. The redesigned program focused on the first 7 days and frequent check-ins throughout the first year.

  • Activating Engagement
    Pre-boarding activities and several touchpoints were created to reduce confusion and promote engagement throughout the program.
  • Promoting Knowledge Retention
    The new onboarding program integrated several scenario-based training modules along with frequent check-ins to increase knowledge retention.
  • Reinforcing Core Concepts
    After the initial training took place, new hires were provided with support materials such as the employee handbook to help reinforce core concepts.

The new onboarding program helped the organization successfully onboard all new hires at an accelerated pace.

  • Employee ESAT Score 4.8/5:
    Internal surveys found that learners felt the program was an effective use of their time.
  • Employee ESAT Score 4.6/5:
    The internal survey found that new hires felt confident in their roles after 30 days.
  • 100% Successfully Onboarded:
    After the program launch all new hires were successfully onboarded.
