In the digital age of 2022, there is five times as much information available as there was in the good old ‘80s, but did you know that the average adult attention span is only eight seconds? The modern learner looks for information in bite-sized chunks that they can quickly experience, assimilate, and put into practice. This confronted the learning leaders with the greatest challenge of organizing feasible ways of training to help upskill and reskill their workforce. Microlearning joined the fray at this point and became a trend not just because it is a modern technique but also because it is a better training mode. On the other hand, microlearning has been found to frequently miss the mark when oversimplified.
