Using the Performance Learning Blueprints (BLPs) described in the iStrategize phase, the iDevelop service encompasses the services related to designing and developing content, assessments and evaluations.

There is no “one-size fits all” solution for content, which is why InfoPro Learning will provide a blend of custom content development, modernization of existing content, and the selection or provision of third party content.

iDevelop includes these content services:

Custom Content Development: New content that is needed to support training requirements. Although more expensive in the short-term, custom content tends to be the most engaging, because the message and design have been designed specifically for a target audience and purpose. Also, using InfoPro Learning’s agile development cycle, the time to market for new content is drastically decreased.

Content Modernization: Building off our MODERNIZE model, InfoPro Learning catalogs all course content and categorizes it based off future re-usability. The goal of modernization is to leverage your existing content and then update the design, style, or format of the content to extend the shelf-life of that content and maximize the ROI.

Content Localization: Whether your content simply needs text and voice translation, or a more robust locale-specific solution, the iDevelop team ensures all content is error-free, and matches the subtle cultural nuances for over 150 countries.

Third-Party Content: Purchasing pre-built content can be an easy way to reach immediate content goals, but it also tends to be least engaging and impactful. For this reason, the iDevelop team will help pick and choose content which matches the goals of the Annual Performance Learning Plan, seeking to maintain the 10% margin of formal content (more on the 70-20-10 rule).

Creation of Assessments: Following the Kirkpatrick model, Level 1 and 2 assessments will be created to measure the impact of the training content. Kirkpatrick’s Level 1 assessments will evaluate the learner’s reaction to the training, while Level 2 will analyze the increase in knowledge from before, to after, taking the course.

“Companies invest hundreds of thousands of dollars in creating brand new content, just to forget about it a couple of years later. Our goal is to revitalize that content and then create a strategy for extending the shelf life of all learning assets in the future.”
